Each container was prepared to meet the required cargo-worthiness standards and was supported by the required inspection and certification documents.

A significant portion of BHEL's container requirement supported the Maitree Super Thermal Power Project at Rampal, Bangladesh — a 2 × 660 MW power project being developed by BHEL for Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company.
Critical components were staged at BHEL facilities in Hyderabad and Chennai Port before being transported by sea to the project site.
